Know your worth

Pure medication for low-self-esteem, depression, or fear. It's all about knowing how badass you are... Regardless of how you feel, look or think.


I am not writing this article to boost any egos; I am writing this article for people that finds happiness when they give freely. People that give freely tend to be taken advantage of and it only last awhile until they figure out their true value. Their energy and aura might change. However, they eventually rise again and become more in control of their lives and their valuable assets. Which is their spiritual strength, confidence and character.


When you know your worth, you build resilience, and no one will take that away from you.

Heal & overcome fear.

Before I begin, as a young man who grew up too fast, I've seen and felt the good and the challenges that the universe can give.


At sometimes, it was peaceful and other times it was not peaceful. When I was able to channel my peace, nature felt like paradise and life felt like freedom. Therefore, it is one of my duties to maintain my peace and stay resilient.


Just imagine at 9 years old, seating down underneath a tree, watching 42 goats in the middle of the forest. Now, picture this, you are in the middle of the jungle and some random wild animal comes and attacks one of your goats, you hear the goats scream, and you can't identify what that animal is! Now, you wonder and terrified. You start to gather all the goats and you take them back home in a hurry, so you won't get eaten. Knowing that one of the goats is missing you get home, and your father gets upset that you lost one goat. What do you do?


I had to face that fear of being eaten alive or losing one of the goats. When you are by yourself in the middle of nowhere it's you verse you. Some people do things that makes them feel good and comfortable and some people do things that scare them because they discover who they truly are, even if it's through the things they fear. Side note: You can also do both.

Be brave, remember that bravery is not the lack of fear but the ability to move forward in spite of fear.

People normally like to experience and do things that brings them a good feeling, and by engaging in certain activities that boost their self-esteem brings them that feeling.


Experts say when we have a contingent self-worth, we might engage in activities that make us feel worthy while avoiding activities that make us feel unworthy. Researchers found out that this can lead us to pursue the wrong things, that don't make us happy in the long run.


Take intentional actions.

Jeff, what do you mean by taking intentional actions?

Researchers believe that when we take intentional actions, it starts with:

Belief - Desire

Intention


Skill - Intentionality - Awareness


We make so many decisions throughout the day... some decisions we remember and some decisions we don't remember. Especially, when you've had more than 4 shots of whisky.

But what I am trying to say is, there are decisions that we make, and end up shaping our whole lifestyle. Like going to college, accepting a job position or choosing to follow your dreams. Those are unforgettable actions. We remember these actions for the rest of our lives.


We can also make small decisions that helps us shape our future. Small decisions like drinking a lot of water and eating fruits. Most people that I meet enjoys the heck out of life and wants to live longer. They all start healthy habits.


Master sticking to priorities

Truly, if you find yourself down and feel like you're not getting anywhere. It is time to revisit your priorities.


Dig deep and get back to the healthy routine you started!

Get back to the student mindset where you have to do your homework, or you'll fail.


We all fail at times, but it's how we get back up that makes a huge difference in our character. We stay focused on what brings us a feeling of accomplishment.

When you master the priorities you set for yourself, you start to appreciate who you are,


It becomes easy to channel that focus,


You start to slowly attract what is meant to serve you right,


It becomes easy to channel your confidence,


But only when you stick to your priorities.


know your worth

I have friends that passed away...

I pray that they were able to feel and see the value they brought into this world.


I know I have little. But nothing material can show the value I have as a human being.


First in for most, I am a son, a brother, a friend, and an uncle.

I have to remember that I am a warrior, and I can achieve whatever I face.


I am so grateful for the life I build for myself, even though it's not perfect.


I am doing my best every day to become the best version of myself.

Our value is not determined by what we have, what we wear and sometimes our value is not determined by what we do.


Our value is simply determined by who we chose to be in any given situation.
