We only live once, be who you were created to be.
Lets rise together! So, we can help make this world a better place. Let us learn ourselves freely and face challenges that will build our inner strength. We'll become powerful leaders that'll help the next generation.
Think about preschool days, this was the time we began to assert our power and control over the world through direct play and social interactions. We felt like we were on top of the world. Which we were, in our little minds. Studies show that kids who were proficient at this stage felt capable to lead others. Those who weren't proficient at this stage fail to reach these skills are left with a sense of guilt, self doubt and lack of initiative. We are all different, of course, but I believe that we all have inner power that we can tap into, to be our best self.
"Leaders become great, not because of their power but because of their ability to empower others." - John C. Maxwell
I challenge you to think about your god given gifts for a second. Close your eyes and think about them. Write them down. You can use those god given gifts to master yourself and lead others to connect with theirs. It's time to be the powerful person your mom believes you can be.
With these 3 simple tips you can just be the person that you are... Unapologetically.
1. Forgive yourself and others without any expectations.
When we forgive, we let go certain weight that has been on our shoulders for along time. That always feels powerful. We all have heard the phrase "be the bigger person." This same phrase plays part in our own inner self as well. We must forgive ourselves to reach our full potential.
When we forgive, we shouldn't have expectations. We can't expect someone else to beg for our forgiveness. We got to forgive within ourselves and move forward . If we expect this, we will always end up disappointed and it will take us along time to reach our full potential because we never fully forgave ourselves or others truly.
2. Identify and get rid of beliefs, things, or people that are holding your powerful self back.
Have you noticed sometimes when you about to do something that might have inspired you at the moment but you stop yourself due what you've heard, seen, believed or you just don't know what made you stop from pursuing what inspires you. This time really focus on what has been holding you back from your creativity, your happy self, your confident self and know that you have the power to let all that holds you... GO and say, "I deserve to be happy, I deserve to be confident, I deserve positive energy."
I am on top of the mountain I have to maintain my balance and not allow certain beliefs that, 'oh I might slip and fall.' Don't get me wrong these things do happen. What I am saying is, we must become aware of our environment, and identify what holds us back from staying still. With this knowing we can tap into our powerful self.
3. Do What you love to do with love, and positive intention and joy.
Don't worry about the outcome.
Just like children on the play ground. Zero thinking, just allowing their body to do what they do best, being kids. We can all relate to this energy. When we are so used to exercising, we enter into a flow state where we allow our body to be and feel powerful, every rep means something. If we mess up a rep, we usually add extra rep just to balance ourselves. It's beautiful when we are at play.
The only challenge that comes to challenge this mindset is, we start to believe that we are not seeing results. So, some people give up and most lose motivation. We must not fall victim to a belief that might blind us from seeing the true growth within ourselves. We're bigger than worry. The outcome comes as a dessert and we never know what the dessert looks like. So, we have to continue enjoying the meal (process).
"You will not know how powerful you are
until being strong is the only choice you got."
I hope these tips will be a resource or guidance for you now or in the future. Cheers to your successes and a powerful journey ahead.
Cheers.
